A support scheme for the next generation
of circus authors in Europe

From 2013 to 2017 Mirabilia is one of six co-organizers and platforms along with Theatre de la Cité International in Paris in the project CircusNext and European Pole Circus of Italy from 2013 to 2017.

CircusNext is an annual program of artistic and financial support with the aim of discovering, accompanying and supporting the new generation of circus authors.
CircusNext is a cooperation project designed and organized at a European scale: the European members of CircusNext platform implement the activity program by hosting part of the activities (residencies, tutoring, mentoring, public presentations, laboratories, etc.) and finance together the creation grants offered to laureates supported by the EACEA Culture Programme.
The CircusNext platform offers the opportunity for artists to meet performing arts professionals and make themselves known, in particular during the selection process and public presentations. This networking process is essential to the development of creation projects and their viability.
