Are the “Rois Vagabonds” traditional or modern clowns?
Or are they rather what Henry Miller aptly called “poets in action”? Either way, they give us wings with which to accompany them for a while on our shared human journey. These two clowns are not playing for laughs. The red nose, white makeup and outlandish costumes are simply a way for them to bare their souls.
Mime, acrobatics, music and very few words: the Rois Vagabonds speak a universal language.

Les Rois Vagabonds sono nati dall’incontro tra Julia Moa Caprez e Igor Sellem.
Il loro background eclettico, che va dalle acrobazie alla musica, dalla danza al teatro gestuale, ha suscitato un comune desiderio di esplorare l’arte del clown. Dal 2008 hanno sviluppato la storia della loro coppia attraverso la ricerca di un linguaggio universale e senza parole. E fanno parte della tradizione dei pagliacci che, come l’emblematico Grock, Buffo o Slava, evolvono il loro spettacolo nel corso della loro vita.
