Pesadilla is a performance in movement where dance is combined to contemporary circus, physical theatre and clownerie. The piece tells, with grotesque irony, about the existential growing ugly of a society on the edge of hysteria.
Piergiorgio Milano is a choreographer, dancer and acrobat.
He has been a performer in the world tour of « Tabac Rouge » directed by James Thiérré .He also worked for many internationals artists like: Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui, David Zambrano, Rodrigo Pardo, Raffaella Giordano. As Choreographer with his solo « Denti » he won the prizes: Mas Danza (ES), Baltic Movement (PL), Dance Factory (IT). He is a co-founder of the 320kili collectif and with the show Ai Migranti they won the prize Equilibrio 2010, Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.
In 2015, he won the Equilibrio Prize with Pesadilla: “We saw the attitude of Piergiorgio to invent multiple narrative paths developed around scenes of every day life, which have the power to capture the attention of all audiences. We appreciated his ability to use the physical language, blurring the lines between dance and circus.“
