What our version of Lo Schiaccianoci offers is a plunge between desires and memories, starting from that point in time when the magic of Christmas was still so real and special in us.
Lo Schiaccianoci wants to be a show for an ensemble of dancers, all surprised on the threshold or in full adulthood. An invitation to remember who we were and who we imagined to become. A real and dreamlike world at the same time, tragically comical, paradoxically sincere, where dreams come knocking on the door of the present to make us believe that they have become real.
Tommaso Monza studied as a sculptor at Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera, and later he moved closer to dance-theatre and contemporary dance studying and training with different teachers, between the others: Abbondanza/Bertoni, Julien Hamilton, Roberto Castello, Ivan Wolf, Liat Waysbort, Loren Potter. He works as a dancer for Abbondanza/Bertoni company from 2005 and for Ambra Senatore company from 2010. In 2006 he founded with Claudia Rossi Valli, NATISCALZI, currently focused in the project of Lo Schiaccianoci.
