Mark Di Giuseppe – Trashman Blues is known for being one of the world’s most exciting, original and flexible “stand-up” one man bands anywhere and has influenced many other one man bands around the world. The show is based on blues, r&b, gospel, soul, funk, ’50s-’60s-’70s-’80s rock n’ roll and country. The instruments used in the show are all hand built by Mark using recycled materials.
Since 1986, Mark Di Giuseppe “The Legendary Straniero“, has been thrilling audiences around the world with his unusual inventions and music. Born in Chicago and now based in Italy, Mark has travelled to many countries and borrowed from many cultures. His musical styles range from Blues to Jazz to Rock to Classical to Folk to Reggae to Punk. He sings in English, Italian, Neapolitan, Spanish, Japanese, Swedish, Russian, Portuguese and Rom (Gypsy). In the show Mark sometimes not only changes musical styles, but his physical appearance thanks to a large selection of comical masks, wigs and props.
