Duration is a sensation faster than a moment, the most fleeting of all sensations, unpredictable, unmeasurable. It is a moment in which you feel enveloped … by what? By an extra sun, by a fresh wind, a delicate soundless chord in which all the dissonances are composed and blended together. Anyone who has never experienced duration has not lived.
