4’33 “is the best known title of the work of Cage, which led us to a reflection on the composition work of blucinQue, merged in the title WE273”, as the starting point for this creation.
An inspiration. Perhaps a tribute. Surely an idea for this work that starts from the first performances with the title Time. The sound and its relation with space, with voice, with body. The circus tool like musical instrument that vibrates and echoes.
The rhythm that comes from space and from words, a body out of balance, sound, poetic, which moves in an attempt to create paths, perhaps dreams.
Us and silence, us and the relation with sound and the surrounding environment. A momentary loss of consciousness. All is silence, a silence that moves and echoes. It leads to music composition and to explore the stage.
The characters come to life through a marked time, precise, they create a rhythm, they break down, presenting fragments of their personality. They dance their stories, they marked the beat of silence.
blucinQue is a company directed by Caterina Mochi Sismondi (director and choreographer) as part of a personal search, a balance between tradition and experimentation, theater of words and movements, and through different areas of contemporary creativity: dance theater, literature, visual arts, music production and performance.
Today, along with an artist collective and the musician David Tomat, they play at Superbudda in Turin. In 2014 they create a new project involving circus performers: Studio sulla Vertigine, that led to VertigoSuite, supported by Piemonte dal Vivo, in coproduction with Cirko Vertigo, performed as a working progress at Mirabilia 2014 at Castello di Rivoli during Setiimana della Cultura in Europa, in September 2014 at Fonderie Teatrali Limone: studies and performances on the themes of feeling out of place, out of body, out of their own identity, constantly changing, shifting and without balance.
Being displaced, without balance, out of alignment; a broken embarrassed body, out of time: images and concepts that define the search path on movement, voice and staging and writing, with live music, counterfeit, made it sound score, rhythm, poetry.
