ROOM 22

Room22 is a project born from the forced h24 cohabitation between the dancers and performers, Marianna Moccia and Valeria Nappi, during the March 2020 lockdown. Starting from the constriction of a limited space – which in the play is symbolically referable to the object of the stool – the concept of communication between individuals in the time of social distancing is investigated. The intentionis to draw and make visible the inner space – a room in the world – that the two performers construct while trying to remain balanced and connected to each other despite the physical distance.
