Tobia Circus presents an innovative show where ordinary brums lead us in the absurd world of Philip Sutil, a thin and nimble gentleman who loves women and dancing.
This smart character is fascinated by the idea of “equilibrium” and wants to challenge gravity and steal lightness in order to share it with his public. This is a show of balancing and clownerie with a surreal note where twists and unexpected turns follow one another.
Marco Borghetti trained as a clown at the “School of Circus and Theatrical Arts”
in Milan, he acted in the performance “In Cima” with “Compagnia Brincadeira” from Bergamo and work as a teaching in the school “Teatro dell’Armadillo”. He attended several clownerie workshops with teachers such as Bano Ferrari, Avner, Paolo Nani, Marcello Magni,
Philip Radice e Rita Pelusio. He currently works with the acting association “2 etti e mezzo”, with “Teatro del Corvo”, he is a member of the tumblers of Cascina Torchierasenzacqua and tours in squares with his clownerie shows “Lo sai che i papaveri…” and “Equilibrium Tremens. He taked part in different festivals: Vevey (CH)(3rd placed in the 2010 edition with equilibrium tremens), Ascona (CH), ABC festival, Pennabilli, Berlin lacht (D), Lugano busker festival (CH), Bamberg (D), La strada Ausburg (D), Ana mraz (SLO), Doca festival (UK), Mercantia, Asfaltart, O mundo ou contràrio (P), Cirque & Fanfares Dole (F), Mirabilia, Hat Fair (UK), Uutmarket Holten (NL) and many others.
