Stabat Mater is the song that speaks of pain, of the experience of pain, injustice, scandal, the need to live with tragedy, to endure it together, to share it to overcome it. It was conceived and written by Antonella Talamonti for the six singer actors of the Faber Teater using different languages and dialects and drawing inspiration, in writing, from both contemporary compositional practices and the paraliturgical repertoire of oral tradition.
